Your brain’s future starts before the first symptom.
Dr. Amy Paul is a fellowship-trained geriatrician and lifestyle medicine physician, offering structured evidence-based dementia prevention, for peope who want to act, whites there is still everything to protect.
Most people don’t think about dementia prevention until a parent is diagnosed, or their own memory starts slipping. By then, the optimal window for intervention has often passed. Flourish Cognitive Health exists for people who want to act earlier.
What We Do
40%
The Science Is Clear
Up to 40% of all dementia risk is linked to modifiable factors that intensify during midlife. At Flourish Cognitive Health, we translate that science into a personalized prevention plan, before symptoms begin.
Multidomain intervention is most effective before memory loss begins. This is the conclusion from the Lancet Commission and U.S. POINTER trial. This means that our brains respond to how we live, move , eat, sleep, connect and create.
You are in the prevention window.

Busy Professionals
I grew up in a Caribbean household, where music was medicine long before I knew what medicine was. From steelpan rhythms during holiday seasons, to song and art that filled every room. I didn’t have a word for it then, but I was watching the brain anchor memories to the joy and connection of the creative arts.
Years later, as a fellowship-trained geriatrician caring for patients with dementia, I kept seeing this again and again. A woman who could no longer remember her daughter’s name, but smiled the moment a familiar song played. Another who’s words had faded, but whose hands still moved to the rhythm. Our brains hold on to the creativity in ways science is only beginning to fully understand and these experiences have never left me.
I built Flourish Cognitive Health because I believe the most powerful moment to protect the brain is long before memory begins. I also believe that this protection looks like more than medication and checklists. It looks like music, art, movement, connection, joy and the certainty of a physician who takes the time to actually know you.
I am Dr. Amy Paul, a fellowship-trained geriatrician, board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physician. I am a musician, handcrafted soap maker and artist. I have spent my career at the intersection of aging, brain health and prevention.
Flourish Cognitive Health is where all of this comes together and is the clinic I wish had existed sooner.
